Southern Africa Project | For improved eye health care in Eswatini
The number of people affected by severe visual impairment and blindness in southern Africa is rising rapidly, although most cases could be treated with little effort (cataracts, corneal infections, diabetes, glaucoma). However, there is a lack of medical equipment for diagnostics, medication and, in particular, specialised medical staff and ophthalmologists.
